Letterbox - Discover, Answer, Chat app for iPhone and iPad

Letterbox is a dating app where you choose a set of 5 ‘Would You Rather’ questions for others to answer. You can then start chats with them by accepting their responses.

Users will login using Facebook and choose a set of 5 randomly selected ‘Would You Rather‘ questions for others to answer. These ‘Would You Rather’ questions are curated by the moderators of Letterbox. After which, they can see the profiles of other people using Letterbox. Users will be able to customise the information their profiles provide. If they see someone they like, they will have to answer the questions set by that person. That person will then be notified of their responses and can decide whether to start a chat with them.

Dating and relationships are pertinent issues that Singaporeans need help with. People are not interacting and meeting enough new people. This is further exacerbated by the increasing number of people who are socially awkward as a result of a lack of interaction with others.

To encourage users to actually meet up in person, we will provide them with deals, such as 1-for-1 at restaurants for couples to enjoy, by partnering with merchants and deal providers. Users can also keep a wishlist of their deals so that opposite parties can make a decision on where to take their date out to.
